Luca is the co-founder and CEO of KoraLabs, working to close the data gap between agri-businesses and growers to make farming more sustainable.

With a background in math and physics, he holds an MSc in Complex Systems from Politecnico di Torino and École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, and a PhD in machine learning for cardiology.

His postdoc focused on AI for sustainable agriculture, developing strategies for climate-resilient crop management and breeding.

In 2021, after completing a permaculture course, he gained a deeper understanding of regenerative agriculture and the challenges of scaling it to feed billions.

That same year, he got involved in Community-supported agriculture projects to further his hands-on experience with sustainable food systems.

Passionate about making agriculture truly sustainable, he believes that after 12,000 years of unsustainable practices, now is the time to change that.

Matteo Turchetta, PhD, CTO
